Okay, some may have notice that Kimber and I have little eggs and such in our sigs. Others might as well, but I haven't seen them.
Here's the thing. You go to dragcave.net and register. Then get yourself some eggs. You can try for wild eggs on the front page, or abandoned eggs on the abandoned page. You'll see the links.
The eggs are mysterious. You're not supposed to know what you're going to get until they hatch. Of course, hand around long enough and you either figure it out or people will tell you.
When you grab an egg, a page comes up with three sets of code. For forums like this, you'll need the TinyUrl versions. You can only fit three in the sigs here along with some text.
The eggs need to posted where they can be seen frequently. This helps them begin to hatch. Cracks start showing in the eggs, then a hole, and then it becomes a hatchling! Eggs have 7 days to hatch or they die. This rarely a problem, though.
Once they are hatchlings, they have 7 days to mature into full grown dragons. Generally, somewhere around 3-4 days, they will gender, showing wings, or something similar, depending on the kind of dragon. At that point, you can check and see whether it's male or female. Also, once they become hatchlings, you can name them. If you try to name one, and it doesn't work, you've probably duplicated a name that already exists.
Views are whenever someone goes to a page where your dragons are and view them. Unique views are views counted by individual views from different computers. So one person may view your dragons 25 times and you get 25 views, but since it's just one person it counts as unique views. It's better to have a high amount of views. Clicks are good, but not nearly as important. I see two of your eggs have hatched! Once they grow wings, or show some other change as hatchlings, you'll be able to tell what gender they are. When they grow up, you can start trying to breed them. It becomes quite the addiction.
On this forum,
I will now take questions.
Cheers!
