Greetings people of Earth… and the rest of you (Hello, Mum!)

I felt it was important to have a jumping off point for my rather random and wide-spread dabbling with film TV and the Internet!

This site may expand and contract depending on what I’m involved with at the moment, but  I hope it gives you an idea of what I’m up to and what’s going on inside my (currently) stubbly noggin!

My name is David Hewlett, but to many of you I’m probably Dr. Rodney Meredith McKay on the wildly popular Stargate Atlantis series, or most recently, that a**hole of a neighbour in Rise Of The Planet of the Apes.

Jane and I have put together a site called filmTVinternet.com for the projects that Jane and I are currently working on.  It’s a work in progress about our work in progress!

Having made my living playing geeks on television (not difficult, since I don’t just play one on TV!) It was only fitting that I should try and create an online community for them! dGeek.com is a vibrant and diverse forum that discusses just about every aspect of geek life and culture.
